The Stella Cake

We’re huge fans of Stella McCartney, and this summer, her collection of prints looks delicious enough to devour. And now we can eat them, thanks to Washington D.C. attorney and blogger Apollina (the creator of “The Stella Cake!”). Inspired by McCartney’s Summer 2011 collection, Apollina made a citrus cake with lemon curd filling and orange lemon icing. This cake may be too beautiful to eat, but we’re sure we’ll find a way!

Absolutely beautiful! The arrangement of the fruit looks so beautiful and unlike anything I’ve seen done before. It looked exactly like printed fabric at a first glance. I love that it was inspired by the Stella McCartney summer collection.
