Coury Combs has a knack for devising extraordinarily sweet vintage ensembles. In addition to showcasing these colorful wardrobe creations on her blog, FancyTreeHouse, this rosy-cheeked entrepreneur maintains a unique online shop where she eventually parts with most of her coveted pieces (we’re not complaining!). A glimpse into Coury’s charming home reveals an inspiring décor aesthetic — perfect for business, dress-up, and quality frolic time with her darling pup. Pops of lavender and coral accent ivory walls, while quirky collectibles and mismatched accessories adorn chic bookshelves. From a cozy office space to a ruffled bedspread fit for a princess, Coury’s home is an enchanting haven that is just as playful as it is practical.

Describe your style. What does a typical outfit entail?
I like everything in life to be sickeningly sweet. This doesn’t stop when it comes to getting dressed. I enjoy mixing colors and textures, and challenging myself to be creative and try new combos.
Does your home décor tend to mimic your personal style? How?
Absolutely. My wardrobe and everything in my house all blend together. Both elements inspire each other as well.

How does your home reflect your lifestyle?
I work from home, so it’s always very important to me that my home is a place I would choose to be over anywhere else. Color and whimsy inspire me and keep my eyes happy. I like to find joy in everyday things.
What specific pieces or touches in your home make it your unique sanctuary?
I sound like a broken record but when I look around, the things that always stand out to me are colors. I have hand-picked everything specifically to make me happy every day.
