Myka — business partner to Tori — embodies the confidence and charisma of a genuine Glitter Girl. (The darling duo styled this fabulous shoot!) Myka’s clever and artistic intuition is anything but limited to her professional career. Seeking inspiration from her urban surroundings, she juxtaposes feminine pieces and edgy accents with ease. From feathers to fabulous frocks, Myka’s city-savvy wardrobe is home to a playful and polished slew of ensembles.
This Glitter Girl loves her lipstick!
Describe your personal style.
My style is a mix of feminine pieces with a structured edge — girly with a city vibe. I love wearing a lace dress with a faux leather jacket, or a ruffly dress with a spiked belt. My sister always jokes that I never, ever match. I guess it’s true! I like to layer things up and throw on different colors, patterns, and textures. I just like to have fun with my clothing and not take it too seriously. Growing up, my mom would take my siblings and I to scour thrift stores for the perfect little outfits. I totally loved doing that as a kid — finding a gem amongst all the clutter. I still love thrifting as an adult. It’s definitely a tradition I will one day carry on with my own little family.
What factor(s) most influence(s) your daily outfits?
Well, living in San Francisco means I’m always layering my outfits (and always packing a pair of flats in my purse for when I hop on the bus). The city is probably the biggest influence on my style. I always want to look pulled together, and I love throwing in a little something sparkly. Bottom line: I like to have fun with my clothes, but I’ve also got to be comfy when walking from appointment to appointment.

Mossimo from Target shirt, Charlotte Russe feather dress (that she made into a skirt), watch from her father-in-law, Bourgie lamp.
Do you have a style mantra?
Dress for yourself and have fun with fashion. Seriously, I think most people look at me like I’m wearing a costume most days (sequins during the day is my all-time fave), but I don’t really care. I just rock whatever I like and feel great.
