What do you enjoy most about having such a creative career?
Being around other creative peeps. I’ve met so many amazing friends through this industry that continue to inspire me and help me to push the envelope in my creative endeavors.

What would you most likely be doing if you weren’t working in this industry?
I love love love interior design. My hubby and I take so much pride in our home and the way we decorate. I truly feel like your home is such a pure reflection of who you are as a person. It’s one of the first things we ask our clients about before embarking on their wedding design. Seeing how people decorate their homes and live their day-to-day lives helps us to get a better sense of who they are.

Tell us: how do you stay so organized despite your busy lifestyle?
I’m a born planner and love making lists. It’s true — just ask my family! I’m constantly running around jotting little notes down in my notebook.

What does being a “Glitter Girl” entail for you personally?
For me, a Glitter Girl is someone who is confident inside and out. A girl with a strong sense of family who values her friendships — and, as Taylor once told me, “Live each day like it’s your birthday!” It’s true: I love celebrating each day like it’s a special occasion!

hi! thanks everyone for all the sweet comments.
Maria: the lucite boxes are from the Container Store. For the DIY necklace, I just used a hot glue gun to adhere the feathers to the necklace. I did spray paint the mason jars gold, but they aren’t really for drinking (ha, I was just faking it for the photos). I use the gold mason jars as vases.

Hi Karito! The watch on the left is an “ESQ men’s watch”. Not sure of the specific style, it was a gift. Hope that helps a bit. And the watch on the right is Merona (from Target). thanks!
