We asked our friend Chassity to take us on a shopping tour of the charming and historic city she calls home: Charleston, South Carolina. Chassity’s blog, Look Linger Love, is overflowing with insider interviews from local fashion designers (like Marysia Swim) and interior designers (such as Angie Hranowsky), while spotlighting the growing design and art scene in Charleston. The quaint city is filled with independent boutiques, and is drawing national recognition in the fashion industry. Charleston Fashion Week allows designers from all over the south a chance to showcase their work. Chassity gave us the inside scoop on her favorite spots to shop on the popular King Street.

Worthwhile (268 King Street) – Located on the main shopping area of King Street, this boutique offers an eclectic mix of home goods, accessories, and clothing from both notable and undiscovered designers. Worthwhile always has unique finds with timeless displays.

Hampden Clothing (314 King Street) – Hampden Clothing is the shop to see and be seen. Carrying a large array of trendy and contemporary designers such as by Malene Birger, Dannijo, and Tucker, this boutique draws both locals and tourists alike.
