What made you decide to begin both of your businesses?
I have always been a creative person and had a passion for events and weddings, so I embarked on a journey to establish myself in the industry that I have always loved. That is when Bustle Events was born. While planning/designing weddings, I noticed a need for custom and vintage rentals here in Northern California. That’s when I partnered with my dad to bring couples’ dreams to life with our custom-built rentals. We also offer a wide variety of vintage furniture for brides in search of adding a little piece of history to their wedding.

What differentiates Bustle and Heritage & Craft from other styling or event planning companies?
Heritage & Craft was the first rental company in Northern California to offer custom-built rentals. We literally can take a drawing of a doorway opening up into a field where a bride’s dream ceremony takes place, and build that doorway with old antique doors and windows. We have also built pews, walls, backdrops, tables, lighting pieces — the list is endless. With our event background, our vintage inventory is curated perfectly for weddings.
The San Francisco Bay area has no shortage of talented event designers. Bustle focuses on being innovative in our approach to each couples’ wedding. We never do the same thing twice. Our goal is to infuse each wedding with tons of personal details. We are also constantly working toward adding a little “Bustle” to the industry. For example, we felt Northern California needed a super fun bridal experience. Enter… The Lab.
