“Like most ladies, I have a HUGE shoe collection and these are just a few of my favs.” {Front} Irregular Choice (Teal bow heels), Vince V Camuto, H by Halston, Jessica Simpson. {Back Row} Boutique in Italy, Steve Madden, BCBG, Steve Madden
“I am huge on accessorizing and what better way than with these lovely jewels. Cocktail rings are one of my favs and I am really obsessed with gold right now. My collection of jewelry comes from my grandmother, cheap accessory stores, Anthropologie, J. Crew, Nordstrom and antique shops. My favorite cocktail ring is a HUGE one I got from Haute Bride.”
What do you love most about your job?
I honestly love being a part of a couples’ big day. I have become friends with so many of them, and we still keep in contact.
Does your taste change and/or expand often? What are your preferred color palettes or décor schemes?
I would say my taste never changes; I always have the same design aesthetic. My favorite color palettes and décor schemes are always changing. I really love so many, but most of all I just like fresh unique palettes and ideas.
What are some of your biggest sources of inspiration?
I draw inspiration literally everywhere. I have a constant list and photo folder on my iPhone where I save pictures. I take pictures of inspiration in hardware stores, fashion, restaurants, or in nature. Sometimes it even surprises me where I find inspiration.
“Vintage luggage has a place in my heart because it all tells a story, and stacking it can make for a great furniture piece. I have them in my living room, as well as an old wooden food box to hold magazines.” Erin in a Marc Jacobs rust orange top, Teal Forever 21 necklace, Alice + Olivia black and cream shorts.
“A little quote I found on Pinterest, typed up, and framed. Glass cloche encasing a succulent and a purple dahlia are the first thing you see when you enter the front door of my home. My hubs and I want everyone who comes over to feel at home. Our house is always open to friends and family. We love entertaining!”
Left, collection of ornate gold framed vintage mirrors, two of which Erin made into chalkboards. She arranged them above an amazing claw foot dressing table she painted bright teal blue. Right, Antique rosewood and cream couch with ruffle throw pillows. IKEA shelf with her family photos and her wedding photo on canvas.
Erin adores succulents, and displays them in pottery on her dining room table along with a collection of really old books. “My dining room table sometimes becomes and extension of my office/craft room during wedding season. This time it became a sewing table.”
