How exciting is it to receive good old-fashioned snail mail these days? We at Ashley Brooke Designs have come up with a glittery DIY (exclusively for Glitter Guide) that takes the art of letter writing to a whole new level! This glittery mailbox is the perfect place to immediately stash your mail, keys, and various trinkets as you first come through the door. So find your favorite stationary and grab a few gobs of glitter — we’ve got some serious crafting to do!

Supplies:
- Galvanized Tin
- White Paint (Martha Stewart)
- Glitter (Martha Stewart “Smoky Quartz”)
- Glitter Stickers (Mambi Sticks)
- Painter’s Tape
- Foam Paint Brushes
- Contact Paper
- Spray Adhesive
- Spray Gloss Finish
*All supplies found at Jo-Ann Fabrics

Step 1: Paint entire tin white.
*This may take more than one coat of paint.
Step 2: Tape off bottom portion of tin.
Step 3: Use spray adhesive and lightly coat inside the taped area.
Step 4: Sprinkle and coat the sprayed area with glitter.
Step 5: While glitter sets, transfer the stickers to a small piece of contact paper.
Step 6: Using spray adhesive, lightly coat the stickers. Then lightly sprinkle on glitter to match the colors.
Step 7: Time for a popcorn and Glitter Guide break!
Step 8: Apply stickers to the tin.
Step 9: Coat the entire tin with the spray gloss finish.
*You may want to do this twice.
Step 10: Let dry. Write a letter or two while you wait on your Ashley Brooke Designs stationery!
Step 11: Show off your sparkly skills!

I wish I would have seen this before I painted a vintage shutter to hold all of my mail and bills. That may be more organized but this is so fun!
