When it comes to her wardrobe, Glitter Girl Liz of Late Afternoon expertly creates fascinating combinations with ease. Her intuitive mix of color, pattern, and proportion ensures an abundant slew of fierce ensembles with intriguing photographic backdrops to boot! From artsy, romantic pieces to figure-flattering staples, Liz wears the latest styles with an enchanting mysteriousness all her own.

“I’ve been collecting old magazines for years and after running out of room to store them, I started to frame them and use them as art. I like having little pieces of history decorating my home.

How would you define your personal style? Has it evolved over time (or over the course of maintaining a popular blog)?
I think my style is a little bit of everything thrown together. I like things to be polished but never stuffy. Effortlessly chic! Having a blog has really pushed me. It has helped me step out of my comfort zone, and challenged me to continue evolving my style.

“I love layering with leather.” Wearing Tory Burch blouse and H&M faux leather dress.

Describe your thought process as you get dressed in the morning.
It really depends on the morning. But usually, I grab one piece that speaks to me and start building around it. Accessories, lipstick, and sunglasses are my finishing touches.

Do you have a style icon?
Right now, I’m really loving what Miroslava Duma is doing.

“My living room is a clash of my collectibles. It all of my favorite flea market and antique finds in one room. It’s my favorite room in the house.”

Can you divulge any beauty secrets? A make-up must-have you couldn’t live without?
I can’t live without Benefit’s eye bright stick and Make up Professional’s liquid eyeliner.

Does your home décor at all mimic your personal style (or vice versa)?
Yes. It’s just as eclectic as my personal style. And just like the rest of the house, my closet is a collection of my favorite pieces.

“These are my three “it” shoes for fall: Burgundy Tory Burch loafers, snakeskin Zara booties, Leopard Kelsi Dagger booties.”

What is your favorite room in your home?
My living room. It’s bright, sunny, and warm.

“Leopard and burgundy are a my go-to combination for fall.” Liz in an lf dress, tory burch shoes, H&M scarf, House of Harlow sunglasses, Foley and Corinna bag.

Do you think your taste ever reveals bits of your personality? How so?

My home is a direct reflection of me. It reveals what I like, what makes me happy, and what is meaningful to me. Every item has its own story; everything is tied to a memory.

Love her! I totally decorate with shoes as well even though my guy thinks I’m crazy. I’ve even purchased a pair of booties before that didn’t fit just to put them on display. LOL

Liz is my all-time favorite style blogger without a doubt! Not only does her bright, friendly personality shine through with every outfit, but her style is so affordable! I love how she doesn’t feel the need to wear outrageously priced items for the sake of being ‘fashionable,’ and it’s not like she wears a $500 dress once and you never see it again! She isn’t afraid to wear the same pieces more than once (or thrice for that matter)! We need more ladies like Liz in the world!
