Blast From The Past: Nifty Fifties

This week we will be featuring styles of the 1950s. Fashion of the ’50s highlighted the female form. Think ladylike, hourglass silhouetted dresses nipped at the waist, voluminous as well as pencil skirts, mid-heeled pumps and corset tops. This era was also known for its fabulous and perfectly coiffed hairstyles (large curls were all the rage) and glamorous yet feminine makeup.
