A whimsical spin on preppy classics, Kate Spade’s Spring 2012 collection is a vibrant array of embellished cardigans, brilliant prints and polka dots, killer jewelry, and bows aplenty. Punchy pops of coral and fuchsia enliven timeless black-and-white ensembles. We particularly adore the merchandise printed with mischievous words of wisdom instructing us to “eat cake for breakfast.” (Another excuse to satisfy our sweet tooth? Gladly!) From a sneak peek of their chic home line (macarons included) to a pair of heels dangling from a colorful vespa, we’d deem this spade soiree a smashing success.
