The 1980s have not always been recognized as an excessively fashionable time period. In fact–widely associated with acid wash jeans, leg warmers, and scrunchies–this era has often been deemed a decade that fashion “forgot”. Recently, however, some of the bold ’80s trends have influenced modern style in a fun and unique way. Colorblocking is back and better than ever before. Geometric patterns have taken on a hip and funky twist. And oversized blazers with structured shoulders? They’re here to stay!
