Samantha in a Raquel Allegra dress, Franco Ferrari scarf, Steve Madden Boots, vintage bracelet, and Ariel Gordon rings.

Do you think your home reflects your personal style, and what are your top 3 decorating tips?
My home is definitely a reflection of my personal style. I love a beachy vibe with playful patterns mixed with light neutrals, fun textures, and bits of gold. I never like things to be too perfect, a little dishevelment is always refreshing in my book. My decor tips: One, play around and move things in your house. It’s a good way to excercise your creativity and it’s always refreshing to see old pieces in a new way. Two, accent the kitchen with colorful food. I love using tangerines, or a deep purple eggplant to brighten up the kitchen. Three, borrow from the kitchen. I love using cake platters to display my jewelry and martini glasses for holding matchbooks.

“I recently went through a ‘hot pink’ phase and spray-painted an old iron tractor seat stool. I love how it adds a little color pop to the room. Right now it functions as a spot for my Givenchy Antigona bag that I found at dressed in Santa Barbara.”

Samantha’s collected sea glass in a jar and vintage glass bottles.

“I’m a bit of a product junkie. I’m always experimenting with new lip colors. Right now, my go-to combo is M.A.C. Felshpot and NARS Turkish Delight gloss.”

The photos you share on CIHT are stunning. When did you get into photography?
I took a black and white photography class in college and have been hooked ever since.

Thank you for all the sweet comments!

My nail polish color is Essie, Case Study. The iron tractor stool was found in our garage after doing a massive cleaning. I have no idea where it came from but it just begged to be spray painted hot pink!

I first saw Samantha’s home on Apartment Therapy with her roommate, and fell in love with the space! I have a dear friend with similar taste, so it was neat to see another source of beach cottage inspiration. Thanks for these great photos!
