“My boudoir. I love keeping the colors light and neutral with pops of color. I found these pillows made with fabric from Turkey at Maison K.”

How do you prefer to spend your weekends?
One thing I love about Santa Barbara is the relaxed lifestyle. On weekends, my beau and I love going to the beach, wine tasting in Santa Ynez, making dinner with friends, hiking, having picnics, and sailing.

Tom Ford’s Blush Nude lipstick, makeup brushes in a glass jar, and Tom Ford’s Violet Blonde perfume. “Tom Ford’s Blush Nude lipstick–hands down the best pale nude lip color out there.”

“Photo booth strips from a friend’s recent wedding.”

Girls would kill for your gorgeous red hair! Have you ever dyed it? What’s your hair-care / beauty routine?
My red hair is au natural. I’m the youngest of four gingers, and we all have slightly different shades. My routine starts with Liqwd’s Q-Keratin Treatment shampoo/conditioner and the occasional Liqwd Silk Deep conditioner. Then I put in Orofluido hair oil and either blow dry with a round brush or let it dry in a low bun. My hair is naturally wavy, so sometimes I’ll let it air dry and style with a 2″ curling iron afterwards.

“I needed extra closet space, so my beau’s mom and I constructed this striped cabana-style unit which holds most of my coats and pants.”

What are a few of your favorite Santa Barbara hot-spots?
Sundays at Cold Spring Tavern (a hidden gem), picnics at the Mission rose gardens, antique shopping in Summerland, brunch at the Four Seasons Biltmore, Municipal Winery, dinner at San Ysidro Ranch’s Plow & Angel, Alchemy Arts Center, and shopping on Coast Village Road.

“Some favorite rings in a dish found at Anthropologie and a MOR Bella Donna candle that makes my room smell amazing.”

“My favorite guilty pleasure, Oreos and milk.” Samantha wears a Theyskens’ Theory Blouse.

You often post about delicious recipes and cocktails — do you have a signature dish?
My chocolate chip cookies. I keep frozen dough in the freezer at all times.

“A favorite spot in the front yard where I can soak up some sunshine and read a stack of magazines.” Samantha chills out in a Rag & Bone dress, Steve Madden boots, J.Crew hat, Ariel Gordon rings, and Jennifer Fisher bracelets.

How do you sparkle?
Laughter. It’s always the best way to shine from within. (And, of course, maybe a diamond or two!)
