Maya’s son Jack is in 2^nd grade and his classmates described him in this poster that he proudly displays in his room.

Do you have a favorite room?
The living room for sure!  It’s filled with so many personal items that we’ve collected over the years.  Friends and family make almost all of the art in the house, and this room has some of my most treasured pieces.  And the bathroom wallpaper always makes me happy every time I see it.

Maya’s daughter Sadie Love is 4 and is a big fan of the color pink.

“I searched high and low for wallpaper that would work with the existing black and white tile in the bathroom. I found this at a boutique wallpaper store called Walnut in LA. It’s called ‘Lush’ by Mary Kysar, and it literally makes my heart soar every time I look at it.”

How does your personal style correlate to or differ from your home décor scheme?
It’s actually very similar.  My wardrobe is eclectic as well, and I tend to mix it up quite a bit.  I will do high-low, girlie-edgy, bohemian-classic.  There are plenty of fabrics that I used in the house that I would totally love to wear!

“We are lucky in Los Angeles that the weather allows us to be outside pretty much year round.”  Poolside, Maya wears Joes jean shorts, sequin sweatshirt by Bleu Feather and sunnies by Ray Ban.

We know you’re a very busy lady. What does your ideal leisure time entail?
Swimming in the pool with the kids, watching a movie with my husband, and spending spa time with friends.

The tree house in the front yard provides plenty of fun for kids of all ages.

How do you sparkle?
Tons of jewelry; but, of course, nothing makes me sparkle more than happiness!
