DIY-Camera-Strap

Recently we were persuing {this is glamorous} and came across this awesome glittery DIY by Funkytime! We knew immediately we had to share it. This blinged out camera strap is super easy and such a fun statement!

Here’s what you’ll need:
-Coarse glitter
-Mod Podge
-Fabric glue
-Rhinestones

Instructions:
1. Mix Mod Podge & glitter. Add one part course glitter to two parts Mod Podge into a small plastic bowl.
2. Brush on to strap and let dry. Apply a second layer. Let dry. Apply a third layer (optional).
3. Apply a couple of plastic rhinestones at the end of the strap with either fabric glue or crazy glue.

Absolutely love it! Does the glitter rub off though or does the Mod Podge set it?

Genius idea! In response to the other comments, a nice trick for DIY glitter projects to make sure the glitter stays spray a light coat of hairspray and voila you are all set.

Does this mean coarse glitter (instead of course)?

This is the second spelling mistake I’ve seen on here today.

      We’re having a rough week. :)

As if I am not going to do this to every freakin’ strap! Super sparkly!

This looks like such a fun DIY! I’m definitely going to have to try this out on the strap for our canon. I’m thinking I’ll purchase a separate strap for myself so that everyone doesn’t have to rock the glitter!

    Thanks for this DIY!

That’s a lovely DIY. The only problem i see is to have glitter all over you! :)

I did this and love it! The only problem I have is that the camera strap hardens and the glitter cracks off.
