Bountiful (1335 Abbot Kinney Blvd): This eccentric, jam-packed store is how we’d imagine the house of the coolest, craziest grandma in the world to look. The store feels magical, with chairs and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, lavender-scented toiletries from Europe spilling out of glass tubs, and fluorescent cake stands stacked sky-high. We wouldn’t be surprised to find unicorns and fairies living in the back room.
Kid Firefly (1405 Abbot Kinney Blvd): This modern baby store is adorable, but never saccharine. It makes us want to adopt a dozen kids and lavish them with stylish mini outfits, classic books, and handmade toys! We’ll never be able to afford to send them to college because this store is so pricey, but…gosh darn it if their baby pictures will be cute!!
A. Kinney Court (1423 Abbot Kinney): Owned by the son of the founder of Oliver Peoples, this Venice institution is stocked with both vintage glasses and modern, locally-made specs. We could (and often do) play around here for hours.
