How To: Wear vintage pins

Hi ladies, it’s Mitchell from Dear Marguerite. One of my favorite things to do on a warm Saturday morning in the spring is scour a local flea market for antique jewelry. Glittering brooches always catch my eye, but what exactly can you do with them? Old pins are usually inexpensive, and can make a gorgeous gift for a friend or a unique accessory for yourself! Check out these fresh ideas for using pretty vintage pins this spring and summer.

I love the idea of a brooch paired with a messy bun. Add a sparkly pin to your summer top knot for a hint of cool, unexpected glamour. (image)

Love this, I have a couple more ideas – add to a plain belt buckle or through a button hole as a button clip!

I think they are also quite cute on a simple fedora, used to hold a grouping of necklaces or bracelets together or to hold your scarf in place.
