On Our Radar: Art Deco

Spring 2012’s art deco trend is still going strong with jazzy Great Gatsby-inspired gowns, embellished drop-waists, and fringed hemlines. Art Deco first began in Paris back in the 1920s. It’s all about symmetrical lines and lots of beading, feathers, and fringe. Of course, we’re quite partial to all of this glitzy glamour (there’s nothing minimalist about it!). Incorporate this trend into your wardrobe with some funky rhinestone jewelry and open-toe sandals—the perfect cocktail party ensemble awaits!
