NYFW Spring 2013: Beauty Trends

Photography: Alexandra Frumberg + Glitter Guide

Fashion week is all about showcasing new fashion and beauty ideas. Of course, when we see the trends that will be coming our way next season, we find ourselves eager to experience them now. One look that we definitely plan to try is Lela Rose’s golden eyes. Granted, the runway look is a little extreme for everyday, but it still gives us major inspiration. We envision a toned down golden hue in the corner of the eyes that really brightens and makes an impact.

Bobbi Brown showcased a very modern and sun-kissed look on the girls at Marissa Webb’s presentation. Their skin was glowing and looked terrific paired with matte pink lips. We also loved all the metallic nails that were popping up throughout fashion week. Erin Fetherston’s models rocked a super shiny silver that stood out against her soft ethereal collection.

When it comes to hair, we fell for the messy undone ponytails and buns shown at Marissa Webb and Lela Rose, and we can’t wait to create a chic ensemble around those looks.
