Marissa Webb (former head of women’s design at J. Crew) had her first-ever solo debut at New York Fashion Week, where she unveiled her highly anticipated Spring 2013 collection. The collection felt very grown-up, boasting a strong fusion of masculine and feminine—such as soft, ladylike blouses mixed with leather shorts or a leather vest, and a structured blazer paired with neon yellow sequin shorts. Overall, the collection felt chic and work-appropriate with a fun, trendy twist.

All of these are outstanding collection. I am amazed after watching them.

Wow white really is a trend this summer! Just as I predicted at the start of fashion week on my blog: shopgirlcapetown.wordpress.com. I love all the monochromatic looks and am super excited that I will get to explore all these trends the next few months as it will be summer.
