5 Things

Hi Glitter Girls! Briony here from A Girl A Style with your guide to a sparkly weekend. As always, do let us know if you’re doing any of these things with the hashtag #gg5things on Twitter or Instagram. (I’ll be drinking champagne cocktails and wearing my hair in a bow.) Happy weekend!

  • Make a Friday evening in a little more glamorous with this movie-night raspberry champagne cocktail. Yum! (image)

  • Try wearing a color you don’t normally embrace (it might be just the perk your wardrobe needs!). We love this sweet pink and red combination on Blair. (image)

  • Vow to make your weekend caffeine fix a bit more special. Ditch the chipped mugs and instant coffee, and treat your kitchen to a gorgeous French press and some pretty china. (image)

  • Pile your locks up into a messy top knot, and remember: you’re never too old to wear your hair in a bow. (image)

  • For a fun and affordable DIY artwork, stick vintage postage stamps (or collect the stamps from your favorite post!) to a white background and frame. Voilà! (image)

Ah, Veuve Clicquot my absolute favourite! Usually kept for special occasions (lots of it consumed at my very curious wedding) but your have convinced me to pop a cork :)

This in the delicious sight! But as French which had the opportunity to savour some champagne La Veuve Clicot, it is to waste it that to add to it although it is. But I would try gladly your small mixture with a range subordinate! Sorry for my poor english!

Agree! This is a situation where I’d use a cava or a Champagne-style sparkler from California.

      Hi Alexandra,
Absolutely, I wouldn’t endorse ruining an expensive bottle of French champagne either ;) I actually tried this myself with a less superior champagne (though Cava or Prosecco would also work) and it was delicious!
