“I really struggled to find the right shoes for my wedding. I wanted to wear the heel version of this wedge, but my dress length would only allow for a 2-3 inch heel, and our wedding was on grass. So, I went for the wedges—and it was a great decision. They matched my wedding colors, were kind of funky, and were comfortable!”

“We decided to plan a sweet moment together before our ceremony so that we could take photos early.”

“I was so nervous and excited walking up to him. I didn’t even realize ’til I saw the photos that I had my fists clenched in sheer excitement to tap his shoulder! I just wanted to be with him and share all my day’s experiences with him, so finally getting to see him and share the rest of the day together was pure joy!”

I fell in love with this veil (purchased at Bridal Galleria). It was so gorgeous. It has crystals all along the inside and outside of the trim, and it reflected light beautifully. My sash was custom made by Haute Bride. I didn’t like the original sash and so she changed the ribbon and added new flowers, beautiful Swarovski crystals, feathers, and pearls to make it more glamorous.”

“I immediately started to cry. I was so overwhelmed with emotion. I wanted to hold it together before we took photos, but that all went out the window when I saw him.”

“I adore my wedding bouquet. Jacin captured the entire look and feel of the wedding in this one arrangement.”

“Our wedding was in a garden with a beautiful arbor. Jacin created a stunning ribbon curtain to match our peach and white paper lanterns.”

“Let the party begin! After we said ‘I do,’ the song ‘You’re The Best Thing’ by Ray LaMontagne played. It’s a song that always reminds us of each other.” 

“We  decorated our cocktail area with balloons from My Big Balloon. Not only were they bold and fun, but our guests also loved pulling them into the photo booth with them!”

“The Ainsley House was a great venue for us! We were on the hunt for a beautiful garden where we could hold both our ceremony and reception. It really had a whimsical feel to it.” 

“I wanted to give my bridesmaids something unusual for their bridesmaid’s gifts. These ‘love’ rings from Street Bauble were perfect and a huge hit! Also, Sorrelli sent them these pretty earrings.”

“My sister (next to me on your right) was my matron of honor. Her support through all the planning and on the big day meant so much to me!”

“The bridesmaids dresses were by Bari Jay (style 227 in Petal Pink) and matched the ethereal, romantic feel of our wedding. They were a little unusual, but that’s what attracted me. We kept the hair in low messy buns to show off the back of their dresses.”

“Since I wore studs on my shoes, I thought it was appropriate to have my girls wear them too. I found these pale pink studded gladiator sandals at Zara.”

“The flower girls wore different style dresses in white and pink, matching flower crowns (made by Jacin), and gold glitter ballet flats from J. Crew Outlet.”

“Jacin designed and printed our seating chart and framed it in a  frame that she spray-painted gold. I love how she added the My Big Balloon for some sparkle and flair.”

“Our cocktail area had gold frames scattered throughout with movie love quotes that my husband and I love.” 

“I simply adore my cake! My sister loves to bake and took on the enormous challenge of baking the cake from scratch. She spent hours practicing and taste-testing the recipe. It means so much to me that my cake was made with so much love! She and Jacin used real flowers to decorate the cake and the table.”

“My sister also baked all the cupcakes from scratch. She stayed up late the night before the wedding and frosted them all. (Ya, she’s a rockstar.) My mom found this tiered cupcake stand at T.J. Maxx. It was originally silver, so she spray-painted it gold and added crystals to the center of the flowers.”

“Jacin spray-painted plastic bowls gold for our flower displays. She also spray-painted small wicker baskets to match.  They had BBQ wipes and bibs for guests to keep clean at dinner.”

“Our favors were these wild safari animals that were spray-painted gold (we love gold spray paint!). Southern Fried Paper printed out little tags that said, ‘Hope you have a wild time.’ They were super cute and I saved some that I’ve displayed on my desk.” 

“We also had gold glitter-dipped wooden spoons at each place setting that came with a card that said, ‘Save for a sweet surprise.’ We surprised our guests with a gelato cart. My husband and I are gelato fanatics and decided it was a must-have addition.”

“The seating chart in the cocktail area had numbers for each table to keep things easy for guests—but once they got inside, we took the numbers off the table and replaced them with different gelato flavors from our favorite Gelateria (that also was served at the wedding).”

“I had so many details in this wedding. I just didn’t hold back. I’ve had a love affair with Sofia sparkling wine for years and had to have their darling little cans at my wedding.” 

“My mom had the idea to hang these ethereal lanterns (from T.J. Maxx) under the tree that hung over the bride and groom table.”

“Our first dance as husband and wife was to Brad Paisley’s ‘Then.’ The song has a lot of meaning to both of us.”

“We knew we had planned a very ethereal feel for our wedding, but didn’t really know how it would look when it all came together. Many people said it looked and felt like they were in a ‘Midsummer’s Night Dream’—and while we never thought of that in our planning, we were very happy with that result!”

“I love how the girl serving the gelato had a ‘Glitter Girl’ manicure!”

“Jacin surprised me with this gold glitter clutch made by Oatmeal and Lace. The lining is pink silk. It embodies the look of the wedding so well!”

“My mother- and father-in-law rented us a fancy vintage car to drive us to our hotel. It was so cool!”

“My photographer recently launched a photo booth business, tomfoolery sf, and we were lucky to be her first customers. I got to tell her my vision for the backdrop and she custom made it! I LOVE a photo booth, and this was a great way to see all our guests let loose and have a good time!
