[tps_header]If there’s one thing we seem to do during the holiday season more than eat, it’s travel. We visit friends and family, and—when possible—take ourselves on much-needed vacations to escape the chilly weather and holiday stresses. Regardless of where your travels take you this season, we wanted to give you some inspiration to create a comfy-chic travel style of your own. Traveling involves many different temperature zones. Climates can change from the airport, to the plane, to the pit stops along the way to your final destination. These layers are not only playful and stylish, but also functional—especially if you’re traveling somewhere cold! (image)

These are all great outfit ideas for traveling!
These are great! I’m flying to London in January to study abroad, and that’s an 11 hour flight! I’m planning on bringing my giant circle scarf that can also double as a blanket :)

Great decision :)
Right in time! I am flying tomorrow on two flights… except there is a 7 hour layover between the two flights! Will definitely use this guide to help me stay comfy while still looking chic.
Oh yes, the layover is killer! That’s why the comfy part is so essential :)
I liked Rosie Whiteley’s travel style the best. Great look!
I love the jeans.
best street style.
Speaking of the last tip, I love dressing ‘bohemian’ on flights to avoid all that security hassle- I stack all my wooden bangles together, & wear a printed scarf as a sash (so technically I’m still wearing jewellery & a belt, but it’s all metal free)! ;)
the first pic, perfect, except if i’m cold, i’d put on boots or high socks. Also another comfy outfit to try, loose warm Cardigan, t shirt, jeggings, or leggings of cardigan is long, and booties, and scarf that can double as a blanket.
Hi there,
Very good ideas for plane ride outfits if you want to look comfy and chic at the same time. I especially love the last one, with the light denim shirt and dark denim pants! Looks super comfy and stylish. I also like the sunglasses and orange purse with the outfit, ties it all together! Great blog!
