Pop.Fizz.Clink: Mulled Wine (Cranberry & Pinot Noir Mulled Wine)

Today we have a delicious mulled wine cocktail recipe by ONEHOPE Wine. ONEHOPE donates half the proceeds from each bottle of wine sold to charity (now isn’t that just perfect for the holidays?!). When you purchase the Pinot Noir used in this particular recipe, half the proceeds from the bottle go towards providing clean water. INGREDIENTS

- 1 bottle of ONEHOPE Pinot Noir

- 1/3 cup sugar

- 3 cinnamon sticks (and 1 extra per serving for garnish)

- 1 cup chopped cranberries

DIRECTIONS

- Chop cranberries in half and fill to a cup.

- In a small pot, combine the wine, sugar, cinnamon (sticks), and cranberries.

- Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve the sugar.

- Reduce heat to a simmer and allow to cook for 5 minutes until wine has slightly reduced. (If your wine reduces much faster, turn the heat down or remove from heat entirely.)

- Strain most of the cranberry from the mixture, but allow some for garnish and added flavor/texture

- Pour into four mugs and serve with a cinnamon stick.
