5 Ways To DIY An Ikea LACK Table

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve probably spotted an Ikea LACK table in your time. You know—that $10 side table you had in college (and maybe still use today!). We aren’t putting this little gem to shame—it’s got a great shape and comes in a variety of colors—and better yet, it’s the perfect canvas for a DIY project! We’ve rounded up a few fun projects to tackle this winter that will take a simple little table into a statement-making design piece.

  • Toughen up the little white table with brads (commonly used for scrapbooking) and a little glue. Get creative with your design! (image)

  • Go for a campaign-style look by adding brass corners—we love this option! (image)

  • Have some fun with printed paper! While we’re big fans of this marbled look, you could also try polka dots, chevron, or stripes! (image)

  • Keep it simple and add a trellis or greek key overlay to the legs or sides! (image)

  • How adorable is this rope-covered table? You’d never guess it was from Ikea! (image)

OMG I was thinking of an idea to use the ikea polka dot plastic coated black cloth material to cover my lack table.
