Set up a simple buffet with salty & sweet treats for guests to munch on before dinner and signature drinks. Champagne cupcakes, truffled popcorn, and macarons are always festive crowd-pleasers.
Toss fresh popped corn with truffle oil & sea salt for a decadent treat. To make your own paper holders, simply cut a sturdy piece of paper to measure 7 1/2 X 11″. Twist into a cone shape and tape!
Use delicate glassware to hold cookies. Add a golden touch by spraying macarons with an edible metallic finish and topping with edible glitter!
Allow guests to mix their own signature drinks. Try a champagne bar and use recipe cards to guide guests.
Try 3 drinks that use similar ingredients—like a Classic Champagne Cocktail, Rosemary Gin Fizz, and French75.
Let your guests dress their drinks with festive swizzle sticks and paper straws.
Print Oscar ballots online and see who racks up the most awards! You can download the ballot we used from Good Housekeeping here.
Edible gold stars add a fun touch to simple cupcakes.
We kept the tablescape simple with white linens and dishes, and we scattered gold star cut-outs and movie tickets down the center.
For the seating cards, we used small trophies from the dollar store and spray-painted the tickets gold. We attached them with mini clothespins we covered in gold glitter!
