P&G: No Excuses Necessary

Recognize this scene? You’re frantically running around finishing errands, finally getting that big work project done, and rushing to join your best friend’s birthday celebration…and the last thing you want is the frazzled look. To help you get your beauty routine down to a science this year, we’ve partnered with Procter & Gamble Beauty to share a few products that will keep you looking gorgeous even with your hectic schedule (especially during the winter months when the cold temperatures take a toll on your beauty routine). All you need to do is insert a (super simple) step into your normal routine, and you’ll be perfectly polished, no matter how long your to-do list!

Once a month, add Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Root Touch-Up ($6.99) to your post-salon schedule. A precision brush and color that blends perfectly means you can spend just 10 minutes freshening up roots that have grown out since your last dye, without wasting time on the rest of your hair. With perfectly colored tresses from tip to root, no one will be the wiser that you didn’t have time for a hair appointment!

After hiding your less-than-smooth legs in jeans and tights for a few days — or the whole winter — it’s time to add shaving back into your weekly routine. You can rely on Gillette’s Venus & Olay Razor ($10.49) to give you short-worthy legs and moisturize in just one step, with the close shave you expect from a Venus razor and the added benefit of Olay moisturizers.

Your hair may be less than healthy after dealing with weeks of hot irons and blow dryers intended to beat winter frizz and static. Fight dandruff induced by cold, dry air and repair damaged locks with Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner ($5.99 each). The special damage rescue formulation moisturizes your scalp while also providing nourishment and protection to damaged tresses.

After hitting the gym, lather up with Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash ($5.59) to banish sweat and dry skin at the same time. The shea butter infused body wash cleans with just one shower, but with regular use moisturizes skin for the long run.

wow, i was really enjoying this blog, which i stumbled upon recently, until i read this.
i appreciate that you have to make a living, but by endorsing a company known for its horrendous animal testing…

    • SM

      Which company is it?

    • EricaS

I was going to post the exact same thing (animal testing). There are many, mass produced products that do not test on animals. All of the above mentioned products (Proctor & Gamble, Gilette, etc.) test on animals. I hope I don’t see FUR on this website. There is nothing glamorous or fashionable about it. If you were it, you are participating to animal cruelty.

Sorry for the grammatical/spelling errors. I’m a bit caffeine deficient this morning thanks to a snow storm! :)

Yes, I would prefer not to see really ridiculous product endorsements like this from now on.
