Gold sequin ribbon (anywhere from ½ to 1 inch in width)
2-inch hair barrette
Hot glue gun
Sewing kit

To craft your metallic hair accessory, simply cut the gold sequin ribbon into two pieces, each about 6 inches long. Squeeze a dab of hot glue in the center underside of each ribbon and fold both ends in to create the bow shape. Crisscross the two bows over one another and wrap a third piece of the ribbon, this time about an inch and a half long, around the middle to attach them, again using hot glue (careful with your fingers here – It’s definitely hot!). Finally, use the sewing kit to attach the completed bow to the hair barrette. Et voila – A lovely new accessory to finish off your ensemble, whether it be casual or glitzy!

So cute! I always seem to reach for something gold to put on everyday, and this would definitely get a lot of use. Thanks for sharing!
