  • Moby Measuring Cups ($34): These whale-shaped measuring cups are an adorable finishing touch to a box full of handy kitchen utensils.

  • “For Like Ever” Print ($60): For the artsy couple, we think this print is the perfect way to say it all.

  • Bodum French Press ($59.95): Don’t get us wrong—we love our automatic Keurig coffee maker—but there’s something really special about this compact, stylish brass French press.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Pillow Set ($85): This handmade pillow set could easily be the kick-start to a bride and groom’s newly combined household.

  • Crosley Cruiser Portable Turntable ($89.99): We love the idea of this portable turntable for a wedding gift. Pair it with a couple of old records for the songbirds in your life.

  • Family Tree Tag Necklace ($69.50): This custom silhouette necklace is a sweet and sentimental gift for the couple who already seems to have it all. And we love that Fido can be included, too!

  • The Newlywed Cookbook ($25): Cooking for two can sometimes be a challenge. Luckily, this cookbook’s recipes are aptly proportioned for a happily married twosome.

  • Floral Monogram Cards ($18): While gifting “thank-you” cards to a newly married couple may seem like an insinuation, a pretty set of monogrammed cards is perfectly acceptable—and even encouraged!

  • A Year of Cookie Cutters (on sale for $19.95): Give them a new baking tradition with this jar full of year-round cookie cutters.

  • Anniversary Wine Box ($150): Gather a few friends to go in on this fully customized, bottle-sized anniversary box for a wine-loving couple.

I like to give personalized painted wood signs with the couple’s last
name on them. They are handmade, one-of-a-kind, have lots of character,

My fiance has created a really cool personalized wedding gift where you “dedicate the day” for the couple on a national registry and then you get this beautifully framed certificate that you have the wedding party all sign. Whenever we have personally given the gift to someone, they love it. I’m definitely putting it on my own registry for my wedding next year! http://www.mydayregistry.com

I am not so tallented to make handmade gifts, but I always try to give personalized gifts.. And when I was recently at a wedding I gave the newlyweds real star from the sky that I bought in Kingdom of Universe – I think that they were also appreciative of this gift :)

  • Sarah Collins

These are such great gift ideas, but I agree with Thanay, I like to give a gift that will create memories and that the newlyweds can experience together. Just recently I discovered an online registry called NewlyWish that allows the bride and groom to register for experiences that include honeymoons, sporting games, a spa day, and a lot more. I loved being able to gift the couple a day at the spa to relax.

I’ve had a lot of success giving a custom
    engraved gift
made for newlywed couples. Engrave their names and
wedding date, or even a meaningful poem, into a beautiful piece of glasswork or
    photo frame.

  • Ashleigh Krawll

The Moby measuring cups are so cute! My new go to gift is a personalized cutting board with the couple’s wedding invitation design or personalized with their names and wedding date. http://www.personalizedcuttingboards.com has so many beautiful designs – I especially love the tandem bicycle :)
