Today we are excited to kick off a new series! Jetsetter will feature some of our favorite on-the-go ladies with top choice destinations. Included will be travel essentials, helpful advice, and more! Who better to kick this off than the fabulous Mrs. Lilien?!
Destination: None other than the magnificent Palm Springs.
Hotel: It’s a serious crime to stay anywhere other than Colony Palms (specifically the Palme D’or Residence).
When to go: April or October—not too hot; not too cold…just right. Crowds are low. (NOT during Coachella.)
Local Style Scene: Vintage shopping + playdates with Mr. + Mrs. Turk and their colorful gaggle of local pals.
Arts/Culture/Attractions to visit: The Trina Turk Store (duh!), Bon Vivant (they have the best blenko glass collection!), Mr. Cox (a fabulously curated vintage salon of sorts).
Cocktail Spot with view: Poolside—simple as that.
Fave local restaurant: Birba (Birbaps.com): the best pizza + cocktails on this side of the equator.
In my bag: 1-2 patio gowns, LOTS of lotion + sunscreen galore, 2 pairs of sunglasses, a wad of cash, lipstick, headscarfs + bikinis, pool sandals and house slippers—you know, the whole shebang!
Fave in-flight activity: Drinking a favorite beverage…obvi!

I need to find a dress like that for vacay! Love!
Great list! I’m lucky enough to live only 90 minutes from Palm Springs. I take full advantage of this throughout the year! Summer and 115 degrees is actually my most fave time to go.

I’ve been dying to go to Palm Springs! I will have to check out the Colony Palms – have only heard of The Parker. Thanks for sharing!
