[tps_header]We always have high expectations when stepping inside the homes of professional designers, and Jessica Marx was no exception. The founder of J. Marx Atelier is responsible for an array of stylish, modern spaces that include set design for Priscilla of Boston, and the offices at Shoedazzle. On top of her design business, Jessica runs the popular design blog Life’s Little Jems and never fails to blow us away with her inspiring ideas and impeccable taste. Of course we jumped at the chance to peak inside her home, which is filled with all the modern, eclectic style and elevated basics we’ve come to expect from the talented designer!

How would you describe your decorating style?
I’d best describe my style as vintage glam meets boho-chic. I love to mix and match unique vintage treasures I’ve collected over the years (usually in brass, I clearly have an addiction) with really easy, earthy bohemian pieces to create a totally eclectic look. I try to stay pretty neutral and timeless with the larger “investment” pieces, adding pops of color and whimsy with the art and accessories.
This entire home tour is absolutely STUNNING — I adore her aesthetic, so much inspiration!

An amazing tour! I was so sad when it ended!
I love the rug in the living room, can you tell us where it’s from? X
Thank you Lindsay! It actually comes from West Elm.
Where is the Chanel No. 5 perfume print from on the gorgeous black and white dresser? I love this art and it would look great with my other pieces! Thank you :)
Thank you Lauren! It was actually a DIY. I bought a glass floating frame and then used perfume testers in a grid to create the art. I love the way it turned out.
As do I! So neat, thanks for the inspiration :)
Any idea where that amazing coffee table is from?
Thank you for sharing. Where did you get the gold momma giraffe overlooking her baby?
Where does the rug ( I am assuming) in the last photo with the gold studded sandals come from? Thank you!
