When it comes to summer skincare, we can’t live without concocting our very own all-natural at-home mask. DIY facials are a must for soothing dry skin, not to mention they save you major bucks when compared to a trip to the spa. Using ingredients from the kitchen, here’s an easy step-by-step tutorial on how to make a moisturizing avocado face mask that will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and glowing.

½ ripe Avocado
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of full fat Greek yogurt
Cut the avocado, spoon out one half and mash it up in a bowl. Avocados offers a good source of biotin, which helps prevent dry skin.
Add a teaspoon of honey and mix in to the bowl. Honey contains mild alpha hydroxy acid, which loosens the bonds between dead skin cells, making it a great exfoliant.
Add a teaspoon of plain Greek yogurt. Full fat Greek yogurt is packed with a natural source of proteins, vitamins and minerals to nourish parched skin.
Mix together until you reach a creamy paste consistency. Apply liberally to the face and neck with a brush or with fingers. Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with warm water or washcloth. Apply a moisturizer after and enjoy bright, glowing skin.
