Grooming your eyebrows can be confusing and daunting. So many questions arise. How do you shape them? When do you elongate them? How do you fill them in? And what color is best for you? The perfect brows are easy to achieve once you know the fundamentals and proper technique. An ideal brow shape and shade will help slim your face, define your bone structure, and make your eyes pop! Whether you’ve been blessed with the perfect brow shape or not, our list of do’s and don’ts, along with a step by step tutorial, will take the guesswork out of your next brow session.

Now for the Do’s & Don’ts:
DON’T: Favor the ‘tadpole’ shape or pencil thin brows.
DO: Embrace a full, natural shape with a defined arch.
DON’T: Over-tweeze (the hairs may not grow back!)
DO: See a professional for the initial shaping (we prefer threading over waxing due to the more gentle approach around the delicate eye area), and then use that shape as a guide for brow cleanup.
DON’T: Skip filling in sparse brows.
DO: Fill in the brows with a color in a shade darker than your hair color. This
adds a youthful feel to the face. Blondes can even go two shades darker.
DON’T: Remove volume from the top of the brows, stick to tweezing out stray strands only.
DO: Combat underperforming brow growth with a lash/eyebrow growth serum like Rapid Lash ($50)
