Who would have thought that the key to flawless, perfected skin could be completely invisible? Primers, those thick and transparent balms, are the first step to achieving a close-to-flawless complexion, effectively ‘priming’ the skin for makeup. Primers solve a host of skin troubles: they fill in texture (like fine lines or enlarged pores) to create a smooth canvas on which foundation and pigment can lay, and they extend the wear of makeup, preventing shine and mid-day meltdown. And if you like that faux-airbrushed, perfectly lit, smooth complexion look, then consider yourself ready for prime time.
Pro tip: always let primer ‘bloom’ on the skin, allowing it to set and bond properly, leaving 5 minutes between application, and layering foundation.

I’ve never really had success with primers! They’ve always kind of wiped off throughout the day, therefore taking my foundation with it too. : /
That’s strange. If you still have one around, try using that tip I gave above and let it set for 5 minutes before adding your foundation. Good luck! x
