How To Host A Glitzmas Party

We all love a good Christmas party, but this year we’re planning on hosting a Glitzmas fête instead! Devon, from Devon Rachel, planned her own Glitzmas party to show us how it’s done, and we are absolutely in love with the glamorous, glittery event.

“Why hello there! Devon of Devon Rachel here to bring you the ever-so-sparkly, flamingo-clad, retro glam Glitzmas! What’s Glitzmas, you ask? Glitzmas a glamorous ’60s inspired Christmas party that you (yes, you — with not a minute to spare) can put together in the drop of a hat! It’s just as fabulous as one of those long, drawn-out planned parties, just with half the time involved. It’s easier than you think! Because, let’s be honest, we’ve got parties to throw and outfits to plan.”

Check out this video as Devon of Devon Rachel, Catherine of The Life Styled, Sydne of Sydne Style, Kelly of Kelly Golightly, Jana of Jana From Alabama and Mara of M Loves M give their expert tips on how to throw your own Glitzmas Party! Now sparkle, baby!

  • Serve a fun signature cocktail like this Bubbly Greyhound Punch. The retro look and feel will be an unexpected delight at your Glitzmas party.

  • Fun quotes scattered throughout the party are a fun touch. Print them at home for ease and to cute costs.

  • It wouldn’t be a Glitzmas party without amazing costume jewelry. The more the better!

  • Sparkly attire is a must.

  • Hang an inexpensive tinsel background for shiny photo opportunities.
