Post-holidays, after all the celebratory chaos has subsided, we always feel like we need some extra time to bond with our significant other. Luckily, Valentine’s Day is perfectly timed for just that. If reconnecting over a box of chocolates feels a little cliche, we’re betting that trading stockings full of fun and some romantic goodies sounds like the perfect remedy! The talented teams behind The Confetti Bar and mStarr Event Design decided to extend the tradition of filling Christmas stockings a few months farther, and partnered with some fabulous vendors to create a goody-stuffed stocking especially for Valentine’s Day. The hard part? waiting until February 14 to surprise your Valentine!

Truth be told, we planned to have stockings from another vendor, but when they didn’t show up in time, Jessica made a trip to Goodwill, found two cable knit sweaters and sewed these up herself. Awesome right? To upcycle your own, simply take a sweater, trace a stocking shape on one side, and cut through both the front and back layers of the sweater {so you get two pieces}. Flip them inside out, sew up the sides, and flip them back right side out.
