  • Retro waves ooze glamour and elegance, which is perfect for this romantic holiday. Simply use a 1″ curling iron to curl sections of your hair inward towards your face. Then, use large pins to set each section in place until they cool. After 15 or so minutes, release the curls and use a paddle brush to brush curls out and away from your face. And boom — you’re a vintage goddess.

  • A chic top knot like this one is super simple to achieve, and only takes about one to two minutes (yes, busy ladies on the go I’m talking to you!). Pull all your hair up and twist until you have an adorable knot like this one. Then, secure into place with as many bobby pins as needed. To finish the look, pull out some baby hairs from the front to frame your face and make the style look ‘whispy’.

  • This rose chignon bun is best for long-haired ladies, so if you have shorter hair but still want to try out this stunning style, definitely add extensions! To watch an ah-mazing tutorial on how to achieve this lovely look, click here.

  • Sometimes a classic blowout is just the way to go, especially if you’re someone who never styles your hair much on a regular basis. To achieve this super sleek look, start with damp locks and part hair to the side. Use a blow dryer with a nozzle like this ultra-lightweight but powerful one by Sam Villa. Use a round brush with dense bristles for extra-strength hold and precision. This one will make your at-home blowout feel like a salon experience.

  • This Rodarte-inspired runway look is the epitome of romance in an ‘un-done’ and sexy way. Start with wavy hair and create two small braids on each side of your head. Secure the ends into a ponytail with a clear elastic. To Create the pretty rosette, take a small section of hair from the pony and tease it to make it textured, then twist the section of hair and secure with a bobby pin. To finish, braid the remaining part of the pony and spray with a light hairspray to hold everything together.

  • This textured hairstyle looks stunning on any hair length. To get the look, use a texturizing spray like Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray ($42), a favorite among celebrities and their hairstylists. Use a 1″ curling iron to create loose, messy waves. This hairstyle is perfect because you don’t need to be too precise with it — the messy look is what we’re aiming for!

  • We love big barrel curls for a romantic night out. This half-up ‘do is glam and super simple to create. Use a 1.5″ curling iron and loosely curl one inch sections of hair away from your face until your whole head is done. Then, twist some hair back into a twisted bun and secure with bobby pins.

  • Mess up a classic low pony and you have a chic new do’. This look is one of the easiest to achieve, and can be done with almost any hair texture or length. You will need a teasing comb, texturizing spray, bobby pins and a clear elastic. Secure teased hair into a low pony, wrap a small section of hair around the elastic, and secure with one or two bobby pins depending on the thickness of your hair.

  • Do it like Natalie Portman for Dior with this gorgeous mini bouffant. Use a pretty headband or ribbon of your choice and tease the hair behind the headband to create the bouffant-effect.

  • Go for some bold romance with a segmented high ponytail like this one. Divide hair into three sections on your head: top, middle and bottom. Then create three different ponytails with each section of hair. Then take small sections from each ponytail, wrap around each pony, and secure with bobby pins.

Great ideas! I personally love how the Rodarte braid has gone from the runway to the street in a seamless way. Now I just need my hair to grow back out…
