Recipe File: Moscato Jello Parfaits

Want to really impress your guests at your next dinner party? Make this super chic, easy and refreshing after-dinner treat! Simply swap out half of the water for Moscato in your favorite flavored jello mix (or use unflavored gelatin like we did here). The result is a surprisingly tasty way to serve an after-dinner cocktail. Top with fresh whipped cream and an in-season blood orange slice — everyone will be begging for more!

MOSCATO JELLO PARFAITS

INGREDIENTS

  • Gelatin (unflavored or flavored)
  • Moscato
  • Blood oranges (peeled and sectioned)
  • Heavy cream

DIRECTIONS

1. Arrange small glass dishes, bowls or champagne saucers on a tray.
2. Prepare gelatin according to directions on package, swapping half of the water for Moscato (Riesling also tastes great!).
3. Pour into glasses.
4. Chill until firm.
5. When ready to serve, whip cream with an electric mixer.
6. Top jello with a layer of blood orange sections, a dollop of whipped cream and a slice of orange peel to garnish.
