A French-Inspired Picnic

Nothing says spring quite like a picnic under the trees on a warm evening — so needless to say, we’ve got dining al fresco on the brain. Our editorial director Caitlin recently put together a French-inspired lunch using some lovely Martha Stewart recipes that would make for the perfect late afternoon outdoors. You can click through these gorgeous images and then head over to her blog for the recipes!

Love the idea, but what’s really French about this? The lavender and a bottle of wine? Seems like its just trying to sell the basket…

We approve! Dining en plein air is always a plus, as is the baguette, cheese, wine, and strawberries. Actually, they’re all pretty mandatory. The lavender is a plus.
