  • BB’s Surf Spray has been my tried and true go-to for years but so far I’ve found that nothing quite beats going to the beach and getting a little salt water and sand in my hair. It always leaves my strands with the perfect texture. I’m definitely curious to check out a few of the others on the list to see if they can come close to replicating the effect!

  • The best salt spray ever was John Frieda’s Beach Blonde Beach Waves. It has a major cult following online, and why JF ever decided to discontinue it is a mystery.

  • I never had luck with the BB Surf Spray, but I’m obsessed with Original & Mineral Surf Bomb. Even on my stick straight hair, it gives great texture.
