It’s about that time again! We are looking for 5 eager and enthusiastic interns to join our team this fall! Our fall internship program will run from September 22, 2014 to December 19, 2014. Interns must be available between 5-10 hours per week and work remotely. All internships are unpaid, but several interns have continued on to paying opportunities with Glitter Guide.
Fashion Editorial Internship (2)
The ideal candidate will have a background in journalism (or be a journalism major), experience writing for a website, magazine or blog and a passion for all things fashion. A keen eye for style and trendspotting, familiarity with emerging designers and a penchant for online shopping are also extremely important. Responsibilities include: writing and editing copy, brainstorming features and coming up with creative pitches for fashion articles.
Lifestyle Editorial Internship (1)
The ideal candidate will have a background in journalism (or be a journalism major) as well as experience writing for a website, magazine or blog. Responsibilities include: writing and editing copy, brainstorming features and coming up with creative pitches for lifestyle articles including food, interiors and entertaining.
The ideal candidate will have a background in journalism (or be a journalism major) as well as concrete copy writing and editing experience. Strong communication skills and a working knowledge of AP style are required. Responsibilities include: writing copy, fact-checking copy and editing copy for content, structure, spelling, grammar, style, tone and flow. Attention to detail is crucial. Experience with SEO preferred.
Social Media Internship (1)
Candidates must have experience with and be currently engaged on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+, Instagram). An interest in social marketing trends and analytics is also necessary. Responsibilities include: updating our social media channels, engaging with followers and creating social campaigns to build our following. SEO knowledge is a plus.
