Singer-songwriter Brooke White first soulfully sang her way into our hearts on “American Idol,” and we’ve been captivated by her many artistic endeavors ever since. (Exhibit A: the exquisitely charming Girls with Glasses Show.) Brooke’s extensive online presence is irresistible—she’s talented, gorgeous and contagiously candid—and every corner of her real-life abode reflects her magnetic, musically-inclined spirit. We just can’t get enough of this charismatic creative!
As a singer and songwriter, how do you bring music into your home every day?
Ever since London was born, we wake up to “Here Comes The Sun” and make the bed. Also, as you can see in my office, I have two large and powerful speakers above my desk. These bad boys don’t mess around, and they’re usually blasting all day. We love our music loud, and we live for our Spotify playlists. We listen to a lot of classic ’70s music, country, Coldplay, indie stuff—and we love a good beat we can dance to. Loo has her own playlist with loads of Mary Poppins songs, currently her favorite. But really, we listen to a little of everything, and it makes me so happy to see the love of music in my lil’ lady. Of course, I have a sweet baby grand piano—”the sarge,” I call it. It was made in 1930. It’s a little creaky and old, but full of life, and the sound fills up my living room. Guitars hang on the walls, and of course I often take them down to play. Not to mention, I just finished band practice in the back room!
