We love a Pumpkin Spice Latte just as much as the next girl, but sometimes we want to start our day off with a little less sugar. Today, Caitlin is sharing a healthier pumpkin concoction made of seven simply scrumptious ingredients. Save the pumpkin milk base in the fridge for several days, and enjoy this fall treat every morning!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup milk (we used almond milk)
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- freshly brewed coffee or espresso (made however you prefer!)
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine milk, pumpkin purée, spices, vanilla and sugar in a small saucepan.
2. Whisk over low heat until hot, about 5 minutes.
3. Pour pumpkin mixture into your favorite mug (as much or as little as you prefer!) and top with hot coffee. Enjoy!

I cup pumpkin? Did you mean 1 tbsp?
read the directions…
In my opinion definitely 1 or 2 Tbsp, 1 cup would be sludge. And yes I did read directions and other recipes on line
how long does mixture last in the fridge after?
I’m anxious to try this! Thank you for the recipe & I love that it makes enough for numerous cups of coffee!
It does sound good. And I agree. Nice to make it once to last longer.
I live for pumpkin coffee in the Fall..Sounds super easy can’t wait to try..saves my money from Starbucks ;)

Did anyone try this recipe? I did and it turned out really gross! LOL Not sure if I did something wrong but I’m sure I followed the directions exactly! :-/
Just tried this also followed the recipe. The flavor is really off. I definitely wouldn’t make this again.
