Today we are excited to share the front porch makeover that one of our regular photographers, Krista Jones, recently completed on her home!
“We’ve been wanting to update our front door since we purchased our house last year. It was originally red when we moved in, and although I painted the main portion of the door white, the outer edge was still red and the glass felt dated. With summer ending, our porch plants were beginning to die, and September felt like the perfect month to give our front porch a much-needed makeover.” – Krista

“We really wanted a craftsman-style front door, and after talking with Tim at BZB Construction, we decided to purchase a stainable fiberglass door instead of a wood door. Fiberglass doors last much longer—and once they’re stained, they look and feel like wood. We had the door and window trims painted white, and we added oil-rubbed bronze hardware to the door.”
