Happy November! It’s time for our next party in partnership with Pottery Barn Kids. Our founder Taylor Sterling has teamed up with Pottery Barn Kids to commemorate her daughter’s first year celebrating the holidays. In anticipation of Thanksgiving, they hosted a girly ‘Friendsgiving’ picnic, full of yummy finger foods, crafts and more!
“It’s so surreal to experience the holidays for the first time with my daughter. I’ve always been a fan of celebrating the holidays, but now, with a little one, it’s even more special. Since I’ll be hosting my very first traditional Thanksgiving meal for my family this year (yikes!), I wanted to celebrate more causally with Elodie and her friends for a relaxing afternoon that I could enjoy, too. Since some of the kids in our group are still pretty young, we decided to make it a kid- and mama-friendly celebration. The kids had a blast with fun activities and us moms had a chance to spend time together while enjoying a gorgeous picnic. Read on to learn how you can recreate this party yourself!” – Taylor

“We had an assortment of finger foods for both the adults and the kiddos. Crackers, cheese, salami, sandwiches—these are all easy foods to throw together and casually eat while chasing after kids. Just make sure to keep an eye on younger kids so they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t!”
