Now that we’re deep into sweater weather, your newly purchased sweaters might be looking a little worse for wear. It’s time to give them a good clean so that they’ll last through the season (and many more to come!). Here are five TLC tips for extending their precious lifespans. 1. When To Wash?
A good rule of thumb for extending the life of your sweaters in between washes: Don’t wear the same sweater more than once within in a five-day period. You should wash your sweaters once every four wears, or more frequently if you’re often around smoke or heavy scents.
