For Simone LeBlanc, beauty is in the details. By drawing on her background as a personal stylist, Simone has built a gift-giving business based on her own definition of perfection: “the balance between considered and happenstance.” She lovingly implements this philosophy in the studio and at home with her family, and we were thrilled to learn more about how she ties everything together (literally!). Be sure to check out Simone’s gift-wrapping tips—just in time for Valentine’s Day—at the end of her interview.
Tell us about your boutique gifting studio. How did you get into the business, and how does your background in fashion design influence your handcrafted creations today?
I started my gifting business three years ago. I had been working as a personal life-stylist where the projects focused on my clients’ personal tastes and preferences. I loved connecting with people in this way—finding an object for their home or a gift that was ‘just right.’ It opened up a world for me, and I realized that there really was an opportunity in the marketplace for my perspective on gifting.
Nobody else has the gifting approach that we do—a personalized, high-end gifting approach backed by years of experience. Our online shop of gift boxes, which we launched last year, is a natural extension of the custom gifts, and it offers themed gift boxes for quick and chic gifting.
