  • This is great information! I just bought a gorgeous silk striped dress and I’m nervous about washing it. This makes me feel much more confident!


  • Is this method safe for all silks, even the ones that say “Dry Clean Only” on the tags? Thanks!

    • I’d definitely spot test. Unless an item has a ton of pleating or glued interfacing (Watch collars and cuffs that appear to be thickened)on it, it should be fine.
