How To Add Color To Your Home This Spring


While much of the country continues to wait for a full resurgence of flowers and foliage this spring, we decided to take things into our own hands with a master bedroom refresh. Inspired by the Martha Stewart Whim Collection for Macy’s, we challenged our Features Editor Carrie to give her bedroom a pop of spunky personality. Here’s her advice for conducting a crisp and colorful makeover!

Pick a main palette
“I gravitate toward the cooler side of the color spectrum, so going the blue route seemed like the perfect solution for me. I took the teal color from our new bedspread and ran with it, incorporating it into the artwork and even the cool-toned wall color.”
